Dragan Radosavljević
Dragan Radosavljević (Serbian Cyrillic: Драган Радосављевић; born 24 October 1982) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Born in Smederevo, Radosavljević came through the youth ranks at his hometown club Sartid Smederevo, before breaking into the first team in 2000. He immediately became an irreplaceable part of the team on the left side of the pitch. His impressive displays caught the attention of numerous domestic and foreign clubs, including bids from Ajax and Dynamo Kyiv, but the transfer never went through. In total, Radosavljević played six seasons for the club, making 124 league appearances and scoring 10 goals. He also represented the club in UEFA competitions, making 14 appearances while scoring once. In June 2006, Radosavljević signed a four-year contract with Partizan. Smederevo ( sr-Cyrl, Смедерево, ) is a city and the administrative center of the Podunavlje District in eastern Serbia. It is situated on the right bank of the Danube, about downstream of the Serbian capital, Belgrade. The Serbia and Montenegro Cup was an association football knockout cup tournament of Serbia and Montenegro played between 1992 and 2006, after which Serbia and Montenegro became separate nations. The competition was the continuation of the old Marshal Tito Cup of the SFR Yugoslavia, and it was named FR Yugoslavia Cup between 1992 and 2003, when the official name of the country was Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It was renamed to Serbia and Montenegro Cup in 2003 when the country changed its official name. The cup was organized by the Football Association of Serbia and Montenegro. The 2000–01 First League of FR Yugoslavia was the ninth season of the FR Yugoslavia's top-level football league since its establishment. It was contested by 18 teams, and Red Star Belgrade won the championship. Incidents Eternal derby abandoned The 115th edition of the Eternal derby match between Red Star Belgrade and FK Partizan on Saturday, 14 October 2000 at the Marakana was abandoned after three minutes of play due to fan rioting. The incident began with Partizan fans, Grobari, pelting the pitch with flares at which point the match play got interrupted. The rioting kept escalating with the southern stand seating being torn off by the Grobari and thrown onto the athletic track. At one point, the team captain Saša Ilić was seen in front of the stand pleading to no avail with the Partizan ultra supporters to stop rioting. Czech Republic National Under-21 Football Team
The Czech Republic national under-21 football team is the national under-21 association football team of the Czech Republic and is controlled by the Football Association of the Czech Republic. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, held every two years. Although the breakup of Czechoslovakia occurred officially on 1 January 1993, the under-21 team continued until the end of the 1994 championship. After that, the Czech Republic and the Slovakia under-21s became separate footballing entities. For both nations, the first matches were played in September 1994 in qualification for the 1996 championship. The Czech Republic under-21 team reached the quarter-finals in 1996, but failed to qualify for 1998. The team reached the final in both the 2000 and 2002 tournaments, winning the latter on penalties.
