Dragan Jakovljević (basketball)
Dragan Jakovljević ( sr-cyr, Драган Jaкoвљeвић; born 18 April 1973) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. He currently serves as a head coach for Mladost Zemun of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League Second Division. Coaching career Jakovljević spent the first 19 years of his coaching career working with youth system. Almost the entire time, he spent with the Belgrade-based Žitko Basket. The only time out of Žitko Basket was in the 2013–14 season when he coached Crvena zvezda U16 team. On 24 July 2019, Jakovljević was named the head coach for Mladost Zemun of the Basketball League of Serbia. Basketball League Of Serbia
The Basketball League of Serbia ( sr, Кошаркашка лига Србије, Košarkaška liga Srbije; abbr. КЛС or KLS), is a top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). Rules Competition format The league, operated by the Basketball Federation of Serbia, consists of two stages: the First League which has 16 teams and the SuperLeague which has 8 teams. Since the 2017–18 season, the top 8 teams in First League are promoted to Super League with five Serbian teams from the ABA League. The ABA League Second Division, also ABA League 2, is the 2nd-tier men's basketball division of the ABA League system. It is run by the ABA League JTD. It is a regional competition between men's professional clubs from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia. EuroBasket, also commonly referred to as the European Basketball Championship, is the main international basketball competition that is contested quadrennially, by the senior men's national teams that are governed by FIBA Europe, which is the European zone within the International Basketball Federation. KK Crvena zvezda is a men's professional basketball Sports club, club based in Belgrade, Serbia, which has youth system teams, cadets (under-16) and juniors (under-18 and under-19).
