Dracophyllum Ramosum
''Dracophyllum ramosum'' is a species of shrub or small tree in the family Ericaceae and is endemic to New Caledonia. It was first described by Adolphe-Théodore Brongniart and Jean Antoine Arthur Gris Jean Antoine Arthur Gris (11 December 1829 – 19 August 1872) was a French botanist who was a native of Châtillon-sur-Seine, in the department of Côte-d'Or. Jean Armand Isidore Pancher
Jean Armand Isidore Pancher (1 January 1814, in Versailles – 8 March 1877) was a French gardener and botanist. Beginning in 1835, he worked as gardener with at Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris. From 1849 to 1856, he served as a "jardinier colonial" in Tahiti, then as a government botanist in New Caledonia, based in Nouméa (1857–1869). After spending several years in France, he returned to the South Pacific in 1874 as a plant collector in the employ of Belgian horticulturist Jean Jules Linden. In 1877, he died in New Caledonia in an area between La Foa and Moindou.JSTOR Global Plants

Adolphe-Théodore Brongniart
Adolphe-Théodore Brongniart () Royal Society, FRS FRSE FGS (14 January 1801 – 18 February 1876) was a French botany, botanist. He was the son of the geologist Alexandre Brongniart and grandson of the architect, Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart. Brongniart's pioneering work on the relationships between extinct and existing plants has earned him the title of father of paleobotany. His major work on plant fossils was his ' (1828–37). He wrote his dissertation on the Buckthorn family (Rhamnaceae), an extant family of flowering plants, and worked at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle in Paris until his death. In 1851, he was elected a foreign member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Jean Antoine Arthur Gris
Jean Antoine Arthur Gris (11 December 1829 – 19 August 1872) was a French botanist who was a native of Châtillon-sur-Seine, in the department of Côte-d'Or. Beginning in 1855 he worked in the laboratory of Adolphe-Théodore Brongniart (1801-1876) at the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle in Paris. In 1859 he received his PhD with a dissertation involving microscopic studies of chlorophyll. He was the author of 80 scientific articles, the majority of them being published in the '' Bulletin de la Société botanique de France'' and the ''Annales des sciences naturelles''. Dracophyllum
''Dracophyllum'' is a genus of plants belonging to the family Ericaceae, formerly Epacridaceae. There are 61 species in the genus, mostly shrubs, but also cushion plants and trees, found in New Zealand, Australia, Lord Howe Island and New Caledonia. The name ''Dracophyllum'', meaning dragon-leaf, refers to their strong outward similarity to the unrelated '' Dracaena'', sometimes known as dragon tree. Although dicotyledonous, they resemble primitive monocots with their slender leaves concentrated in clumps at the ends of the branches; they are sometimes called grass-trees. The height varies from one centimetre ('' D. minimum'') to about 12 metres ('' D. longifolium'').
