Emilio Vieyra
Emilio Vieyra (12 October 1920 – 25 January 2010), sometimes credited as Raúl Zorrilla, was an Argentine film director, actor, screenwriter and film producer, between 1950 and the 1990s. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is mostly known for his action and horror films, which were usually grounded in the exploitation genre. Vieyra began as an actor in 1950 in the film ''Hombres a precio'' and appeared in '' Ayer fue primavera'' in 1955. He began a career as a film director in 1962, with the comedy '' Dr. Cándido Pérez, señoras'', and is most credited in this area of Argentine cinema. Abel Santa Cruz
Abel Santa Cruz (1915 – February 4, 1995, in Buenos Aires) was an Argentine screenwriter who is credited for writing nearly 130 films spanning seven decades of Argentine cinema. Santa Cruz first wrote the script for a film, ''Un Señor mucamo'', in 1940 but it was not until ten years later in 1950 that his career had a breakthrough with his adaptation of the 1895 Oscar Wilde play, ''The Importance of Being Earnest'' in '' Al compás de tu mentira''. In 1963 he wrote the script to the gangster comedy ''Alias Flequillo''. The following year he married the 21 year old Silvia Montanari. The marriage lasted a year and Montanari went on to a successful acting career. Although Abel died in 1995 his work includes 10 different TV credits in over a decade since his death. Juan Carlos Thorry (June 28, 1908, in Coronel Pringles – February 12, 2000 in San Antonio de Padua), born José Antonio Torrontegui, was an Argentine film actor, tango musician and director. Best known for his work in tango films in the Cinema of Argentina, he entered the industry in 1935 in '' El caballo del pueblo'', followed by ''Radio Bar'' in 1936 and made nearly 60 film appearances between then and his retirement in 1969. He died in San Antonio de Padua on February 12, 2000, of heart failure.
