Dr. Cabbie
''Dr. Cabbie'' is a 2014 Canadian-Indian English-language romantic comedy film directed by Jean-François Pouliot and co-produced by Salman Khan. The film stars Kunal Nayyar, Vinay Virmani, and Adrianne Palicki. The story revolves around a newly arrived immigrant doctor in Canada who cannot get a job and is forced to become a taxi driver. He becomes a local hero when he converts his taxi into a mobile medical clinic. The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray from 23 December 2014. Plot Deepak Veer Chopra is an Indian doctor who immigrates to Canada in the hope of starting a new life, but bureaucracy confines him to live as a taxi driver. Jean-François Pouliot
Jean-François Pouliot (born 1957) is a Canadian film director from Quebec. He was born in Montreal and studied at Concordia University. He worked as an assistant cameraman, while also writing and directing short animated films for the National Film Board. In 1982, Pouliot joined the advertising firm Cossette Communication Marketing, where he twice won the Grand prix du Mondial de publicité francophone, a French language advertising award. In 1988, he began directing television ads. Pouliot directed a number of episodes of the CBC Television series ''Emily of New Moon''. Raghav Mathur (born April 2, 1981), known professionally as Raghav, is a Canadian singer. He has released three studio albums: the debut '' Storyteller'' in 2004, ''Identity'' in 2009, and '' The Phoenix'' in 2012.
