Gardner Dozois
Gardner Raymond Dozois ( ; July 23, 1947 – May 27, 2018) was an American people, American science fiction author and editing, editor. He was the founding editor of ''The Year's Best Science Fiction'' anthologies (1984–2018) and was editor of ''Asimov's Science Fiction'' magazine (1986–2004), garnering multiple Hugo Award, Hugo and Locus Awards for those works almost every year. He also won the Nebula Award for Best Short Story twice. He was inducted to the EMP Museum#Science Fiction Hall of Fame, Science Fiction Hall of Fame on June 25, 2011. Biography Dozois was born July 23, 1947, in Salem, Massachusetts. He graduated from Salem High School (Massachusetts), Salem High School with the Class of 1965. From 1966 to 1969 he served in the United States Army, Army as a journalist, after which he moved to New York City to work as an editor in the science fiction field. Paul Dozois
Paul Dozois (May 23, 1908 – July 2, 1984) was a Canadian politician. He was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Quebec and a city councillor in Montreal, Quebec. He was born in Montreal on May 23, 1908 and was an insurance agent. City councillor Dozois was appointed to the city council by the ''Jeune Chambre de commerce de Montréal'' (Young Chamber of Commerce) and served from 1942 to 1956. He was a member of Montreal's executive committee from 1947 to 1956. Member of the legislature Dozois successfully ran as a Union Nationale candidate in the district of Montréal–Saint-Jacques in 1956 and was re-elected in 1960, 1962, and 1966. He served as minister of municipal affairs from 1956 to 1960 and from 1966 to 1967, as well as minister of finance from 1966 to 1969.
