Andrew Graham Downton (born 17 July 1977) is an Australian cricketer, who played for the Tasmanian Tigers. David Downton
David Downton (born 18 February 1959) is an English fashion illustrator. He worked for ''Vogue''. Biography David Downton was in Kent, England in 1959. He studied at Canterbury (Foundation year 1977–1978) and Wolverhampton (BA hons illustration/graphics 1979–1981). In 1984 he moved to Brighton and began his illustration career. He has worked on a wide variety of projects, including advertising, packaging, illustrating fiction, cook books, and, occasionally, fashion. His drawings from fashion shows have been published internationally. In 2007, Downton launched ''Pourquoi Pas?'', a journal of fashion illustration. He is a visiting professor at London College of Fashion. He received an honorary doctorate from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, in April 2009. George Downton
George Charles Downton (1 November 1928 – 19 April 2014) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Kent County Cricket Club. He played as a wicket-keeper. Downton was born in Bexley in Kent in 1928. James V (10 April 1512 – 14 December 1542) was King of Scotland from 9 September 1513 until his death in 1542. He was crowned on 21 September 1513 at the age of seventeen months. James was the son of King James IV and Margaret Tudor, and during his childhood Scotland was governed by regents, firstly by his mother until she remarried, and then by his second cousin, John, Duke of Albany. John Downton
John Downton (27 March 1906 – 1991) was an English artist, philosopher, musician, and poet. Born in Erith, Kent, on 27 March 1906 to Albert Victor Downton (1873 - 1925; an engineer) and Flora Edith (1875 - 1962; née Mitchell) both of Wiltshire, Downton drew well from an early age. He was educated at Erith Convent, followed by Erith Grammar School. At the age of fifteen he won the youth silver medal of the Royal Drawing Society. He was educated at Queens' College, Cambridge (1925–1928), first in English and then in Art History, and then trained as a painter at the Slade. Downton played the violin all his life, was often invited to give performances, and always participated in the fortnight-long Grittleton Summer School of Music in Malvern, Worcestershire. Paul Rupert Downton (born 4 April 1957) is the current Director of Cricket at Kent County Cricket Club. He had previously been the managing director of the England and Wales Cricket Board between February 2014 and April 2015. He is a former English professional cricketer who played in 30 Test matches and 28 One Day Internationals for the England cricket team between 1977 and 1989. He was a wicket-keeper who played for Kent County Cricket Club from 1977 to 1979 and for Middlesex between 1980 and 1991.
