''Down on the Farm'' is a British television series that has been broadcast on CBeebies since 2015. It is hosted by JB Gill and Storm Huntley. On 22 July 2018 it was announced that there will be a spin-off show called Down On The Farm Live - it will be hosted by Dan Wilkes and Storm Huntley. CBeebies is a British free-to-air public broadcast children's television channel owned and operated by the BBC. It is also the brand used for all BBC content for children aged 6 years and under. Jonathan Benjamin Gill (born 7 December 1986) is an English actor, farmer, presenter and singer-songwriter. He is best known as a member of boy band JLS, who came second on ''The X Factor'' in 2008. They went on to have five number-one singles and sold over 10 million records worldwide before disbanding in December 2013. Early life Gill was born on 7 December 1986 in Croydon, London. Storm Huntley (born 24 February 1987) is a Scottish television presenter. Early life and education Huntley's first name was chosen from a combination of her mother reading a novel where the lead had this name ('' A Sparrow Falls'' by Wilbur Smith) and an electrical storm outside on the day she was born. Her grandmother refused to use this name for some time. As a toddler, she accidentally poured a kettle of boiling water over herself, causing permanent scarring to her arm, shoulder and neck; she chooses clothing to conceal the scars. The multiple-camera setup, multiple-camera mode of production, multi-camera or simply multicam is a method of filmmaking and video production. Several cameras—either film or professional video cameras—are employed on the set and simultaneously record or broadcast a scene. It is often contrasted with a single-camera setup, which uses one camera. Description Generally, the two outer cameras shoot close-up shots or "crosses" of the two most active characters on the set at any given time, while the central camera or cameras shoot a wider master shot to capture the overall action and establish the geography of the room. 1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen.
