''Dove volano i corvi d'argento'' (Italian for "Where The Silver Crows Fly") is a 1977 Italian crime-drama film written and directed by Piero Livi and starring Corrado Pani, Jenny Tamburi, Flavio Bucci and Renzo Montagnani. Plot A young Italian man who witnesses a kidnapping is killed by criminals. The victim's brother, a Milan metalworker, is then pressured by family and friends to take revenge on his brother's killers. Piero Livi
Piero Livi (1 April 1925 – 2 September 2015) was an Italian director and screenwriter. Career Born in Olbia, Livi was among the founders of a film society in his hometown, and was organizer and artistic director of eighteen editions of the International Festival of Olbia, from 1957 to 1974. He started his career in 1957, with the short film ''Marco dal mare''. He made his feature film debut in 1969, with the neorealistic drama ''Pelle di bandito'', loosely based on real life events of the Sardinian bandit Graziano Mesina, which was screened out of competition at the 31st Venice International Film Festival. He was also a director of dubbing. Regina Bianchi (1 January 1921 – 5 April 2013) was an Italian stage and film actress. Life and career Born in Lecce as Regina D'Antigny, she was the daughter of two theater actors. Forced by the fascist phobia of foreign cultures to change her surname, she adopted the surname of her paternal grandmother. At age 16, she entered the stage company of Raffaele Viviani and, that year, debuted in the comedy play ''Campagna napoletana'', in the leading role of Reginella. Bruno Corazzari (born 30 December 1940) is an Italian film, television and stage actor. Life and career Born in Castellarano, Reggio Emilia, Corazzari started his career in the second half of the sixties, playing minor roles in a number of Spaghetti Western films, usually being cast as a bad gunslinger and a member of the villain's band. In a few years he played roles of greater weight in other genres, namely giallo, poliziotteschi and adventure films. He was also active in art films, working with Marco Bellocchio, Franco Brocani and Maurizio Ponzi, among others.
