Douglas Rediker
Douglas A. Rediker is an American attorney and economist who is the founder and chairman of International Capital Strategies, LLC, a policy and markets advisory firm based in Washington, D.C. He is also a non-resident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. Education Rediker earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Vassar College and a Juris Doctor from the Fordham University School of Law. He also attended the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government MPA program. Career Rediker began his career as an attorney with Skadden Arps in New York and Washington, D.C. He later worked as an investment banker and private equity investor for a number of investment banks, including Salomon Brothers, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers. He was instrumental in leading a number of the earliest privatizations in Central and Eastern Europe. Vassar College ( ) is a private liberal arts college in Poughkeepsie, New York, United States. Founded in 1861 by Matthew Vassar, it was the second degree-granting institution of higher education for women in the United States, closely following Elmira College. It became coeducational in 1969 and now has a gender ratio at the national average.
