Neil Dougall
Cornelius Dougall (7 November 1921 – 1 December 2009) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an inside right or wing half. He played more than 350 games in the Football League for Birmingham City and Plymouth Argyle, and won one cap for Scotland in 1946. Life and career Dougall was born in Falkirk, Scotland. He began his football career as a schoolboy inside right at Burnley in 1936, and turned professional in 1940. After the Second World War he moved to Birmingham City for a fee of £2,750. He helped the club win that season's Football League South war league championship and the Second Division title two years later. While a Birmingham player, he won one full cap for Scotland, against Wales in October 1946. Dougall Avenue
Dougall Avenue is a busy four-lane urban arterial road, linking Downtown Windsor, with South Windsor and Highway 401. The road is a minimum of four lanes for its entire length, and is among Windsor's busiest, with an Average Annual Daily Traffic amount of 35,000 vehicles per day from Eugenie Street to Cabana Road. History The road was part of the original alignment of Highway 3 from 1917 to 1929, when Highway 3 was re-aligned onto the newly built Huron Church Road to serve the also newly constructed Ambassador Bridge. Dougall Avenue then became Highway 3A. In 1935, the provincial highway was re-labelled as Highway 3B. In 1962, Ouellette Avenue was re-aligned south of Eugenie Street to allow better direct access to and from Dougall Avenue, and to eliminate a short 3-block "jog" east along Tecumseh Road near downtown. Rose Elinor Dougall (born 13 March 1986) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. She was a member of The Pipettes and has performed with Mark Ronson. She also performs and records as a solo artist. Career Dougall joined The Pipettes in 2003 after being introduced to the initial line-up by Monster Bobby at The Basketmakers pub in Brighton. Robert Dougall, MBE (27 November 1913 – 18 December 1999) was an English broadcaster and ornithologist, mainly known as a newsreader and announcer. Early life and radio broadcasting Dougall was born and educated in Croydon, Surrey. He attended Whitgift School but did not carry on to university despite having some talent in languages, specifically French and German. He joined the BBC initially in the accounts department, but soon found a job as an announcer for the BBC Empire Service (the predecessor of the BBC World Service) on his 21st birthday in 1934. By 1939, he had risen to the position of senior announcer and his was the voice that announced to the world Britain's declaration of war on Germany in September of that year. Peter Dougall
Peter Dougall (21 March 1909 – 12 June 1974) was a Scottish footballer who played at inside left for various clubs in the 1920s and 1930s. He later managed in the Netherlands. Football career Dougall was born in Denny, Stirlingshire and played for Dunipace as a youth before moving to England to join Burnley of the Football League First Division in October 1926, aged 17 (his brother Billy had joined the ''Clarets'' around six months earlier). He broke into the first team in the following season when he replaced the well-established inside left Joe Devine for six matches, scoring twice.
