Doug Dressler
Douglas J. Dressler (born August 19, 1948) is a former professional American football player who played running back for five seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the New England Patriots.Doug also played rugby for the Glenn County Warriors. Early life Doug Dressler was born in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the first of three children of Richard Gale Dressler and Patricia Jennings Dressler. Richard, a U.S. Navy veteran, was employed by National Cash Register, Booz Allen Hamilton, Lockheed, and Addressograph Multigraph, and later owned a printing business. Dressler's family moved from Pennsylvania to North Hollywood, California when he was an infant. His sophomore year in high school, Dressler transferred to Las Vegas High School, from which he graduated. After high school, he attended the College of Marin in Kentfield, California. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. The primary roles of a running back are to receive American football plays#Offensive terminology, handoffs from the quarterback to Rush (American football)#Offense, rush the ball, to line up as a receiver to catch the ball, and Blocking (American football), block. Kentfield, California
Kentfield (formerly Ross Landing, Tamalpais, and Kent) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Marin County, California, United States, just north of San Francisco. Kentfield is located southwest of downtown San Rafael, at an elevation of 115 feet (35 m). The population was 6,808 at the 2020 census. The ZIP codes are 94904 for street addresses, and 94914 for PO boxes, and are shared with the neighboring community of Greenbrae. History In 1857, James Ross (1812–1862) bought Rancho Punta de Quentin. Ross, a Scot who had arrived in San Francisco from Australia in 1848 and made his fortune in the wholesale liquor business, set up a trading post called "Ross Landing". Lake Almanor, California
Lake Almanor is a large reservoir in northwestern Plumas County, northeastern California, United States. The reservoir has a capacity of and a maximum depth of about 90 feet (27 meters). It is formed by Canyon Dam on the North Fork of the Feather River, as well as Benner and Last Chance Creeks, Hamilton Branch, and various natural springs. Creation The dam is 130 feet tall and composed of hydraulic fill. The first dam was completed by Great Western Power in 1914 as part of the Upper North Fork Feather River Project, damming the North Fork of the Feather River and flooding the meadow-filled valley generally known as Nakam Koyo/Big Meadows/Big Springs, a longstanding Yamani Maidu village site.
