Doug Belk
Doug Belk (born September 16, 1987) is an American football coach who is currently the defensive coordinator and safeties coach for Houston. Coaching career Valdosta State Belk began his coaching career in 2011 at Division II Valdosta State. In his first year he worked as a defensive assistant and assisted with the special teams. In 2012 and 2013 he coached the team’s secondary, and they went on to win a division 2 national championship. Alabama In 2014 Belk took a pay cut in order to join Nick Saban’s Alabama staff as a graduate assistant. He stayed there until the end of the 2016 season, winning a national championship in 2015 and the SEC every year he was there. West Virginia In 2017 Belk was hired as the Mountaineers cornerbacks’ coach. He stayed there until the end of the 2018 season. Houston Cougars Football
The Houston Cougars football program is an NCAA Division I FBS football team that represents the University of Houston. The team is commonly referred to as "Houston" or "UH" (spoken as "U of H"). The UH football program is a member of the Big 12 Conference. Since the 2014 season, the Cougars have played their home games on campus at TDECU Stadium, which was built on the site formerly occupied by Robertson Stadium, where they played home games from 1941 to 1950 and from 1997 to 2012. Dana Holgorsen
Dana Carl Holgorsen (born June 21, 1971) is the head football coach at the University of Houston. He was the head coach at West Virginia University from 2011 to 2018. During his coaching career he has served under coaches such as Hal Mumme, Mike Leach, Kevin Sumlin, and Mike Gundy. Coaching career Early career Holgorsen spent time at Valdosta State (1993–95) as the quarterbacks, receivers and special teams coach under head coach Hal Mumme, at Mississippi College (1996–98) as the quarterbacks, receivers and special teams coach and at Wingate (1999) as the quarterbacks and receivers coach. Texas Tech Holgorsen was a member of the coaching staff at Texas Tech from 2000–07, serving as the inside receivers coach from 2000–04, before being elevated to co-offensive coordinator alongside Sonny Dykes from 2005–06 and offensive coordinator in 2007.
