Double Or Nothing (2022)
The 2022 Double or Nothing was the fourth annual AEW Double or Nothing, Double or Nothing professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) List of All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view events, event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It took place during Memorial Day weekend on May 29, 2022, at the T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada. The event returned Double or Nothing to its home of Las Vegas, after the previous two years had to be held at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thirteen matches were contested at the event, including one on Pre-show, The Buy In pre-show. In the main event, CM Punk defeated "Hangman" Adam Page to win the AEW World Championship, which was Punk’s first world championship win since Survivor Series (2011), 2011. All Elite Wrestling
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is considered the second largest wrestling promotion in the United States behind WWE. AEW is owned by Shahid Khan and his son Tony, who founded the company in 2019; in-ring performers Matt & Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega also serve as company executives. "Hangman" Adam Page
Stephen Blake Woltz (born July 27, 1991), better known by his ring name "Hangman" Adam Page, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a former AEW World Champion and AEW World Tag Team Champion. Woltz began his career in 2008, working on the independent circuit as Adam Page. In 2011, he began to appear in Ring of Honor (ROH), where he stayed for seven years. In 2016, Page joined the villainous stable Bullet Club, having a big push in the promotion. After he joined, he changed his gimmick to "Hangman" Adam Page, a cowboy-inspired character. The Blackpool Combat Club (BCC) is a professional wrestling stable performing in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Its namesake derives from Blackpool, a seaside resort in Lancashire, England, where the group's former creator and manager William Regal began his career. The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, is a series of professional wrestling tournaments produced annually by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in partnership with The Owen Hart Foundation. It consists of two single-elimination tournaments, one each for men and women, and the respective winners receive a trophy called "The Owen".
