Dorothee Mields (born 15 April 1971) is a German soprano concert singer of Baroque and contemporary music. Career Mields was born in Gelsenkirchen. She studied at the University of the Arts Bremen with Elke Holzmann, Harry van der Kamp and Gabriele Schreckenbach. After graduation she continued studying in Stuttgart with Julia Hamari. Baroque music With the Collegium Vocale Gent and Philippe Herreweghe she recorded several Bach cantatas, his Magnificat in E-flat major, BWV 243a, ''Easter Oratorio'' and ''Ascension Oratorio''. Dorothee Vieth (born 12 October 1960) is a German Paralympic cyclist. Vieth first participated in the Summer Paralympics in 2008 where she won two bronze medals in the time trial and road race events. Dorothee Elisabeth Tretschlaff
Dorothee Elisabeth Tretschlaff (1686 – in Gerswalde, – 14 February 1701) was a 15 year old German girl condemned by and executed after a Witch trial. She was the last person to have been executed for witchcraft in the state of Brandenburg. Her case attracted much attention, and was the subject of a great deal of contemporary debate. Tretschlaff was employed as a maid. She confessed that she had made a pact with the Devil, and that he visited her regularly for intercourse in her bed in the shape of a fly. The Devil supposedly paid Dorothee for her favors. The case against her was based on this alleged intercourse. Tretschlaff was found guilty of witchcraft and executed by decapitation. Dorothee Steffensky-Sölle (, 1929–2003), known as Dorothee Sölle, was a German liberation theologian who coined the term "Christofascism". She was born in Cologne and died at a conference in Göppingen from cardiac arrest. Life and career Sölle was born Dorothee Nipperdey on 30 September 1929 in Cologne, Germany. Dorothee Rätsch (also spelled Raetsch; born 1940 in Heilsberg, today Lidzbark Warmiński, Poland) is a German sculptor and graphic artist, the daughter of Margarete Neumann, a writer and poet. Biography Up to 1945 Dorothee Rätsch was living in Heilsberg, along with her mother and her sibling. Her Mother, widowed in World War II, worked as a welfare worker. Dorothée Aurélie Marianne Pullinger, MBE (13 January 1894 – 28 January 1986) was a pioneering automobile engineer and businesswoman. Early life Born in Saint-Aubin-sur-Scie, Seine Inférieure, France, she was the eldest of the 11 children of engineer Thomas Charles Pullinger (1867–1945) and Aurélie Berenice, née Sitwell (1871–1956).
