Doron Kempel
Doron Kempel (born 29 July 1963) is an Israeli-born American international technology innovator, serial entrepreneur and former deputy chief of Sayeret Matkal. He is founder and CEO of SimpliVity Corporation (sold to HPE in 2017 for an estimated $650M, plus approximately $50M in additions), founder and CEO of Diligent Technologies (sold to IBM in 2008 for an estimated $200M) and former vice president and General Manager at Dell EMC (EMC Corporation until 2001). He is also founder and CEO of Bond (Our Bond), an AI powered, personal security company that offers 24/7 preventative personal security service to businesses, cities and individuals. Operation Bramble Bush () was an Israeli plan to assassinate Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, in 1992. It was described in full in December 2003 by the Israeli newspaper ''Yedioth Ahronoth'', but news reports had circulated about the plot since January 1999. The plan was conceived as retaliation for Iraqi Scud missile attacks during the Gulf War. Terayon Communication Systems, Inc. was a company that vended equipment to broadband service providers for delivering broadband voice, video and data services to residential and business subscribers. History Terayon was founded by Israeli brothers Zaki Rakib and Shlomo Rakib in 1993; both brothers graduated from high school at age 16 and went on to university. Shlomo studied electrical engineering, and Zaki did a PhD in mechanical engineering and post-doctorate studies in applied mathematics. He taught for a while at Tel Aviv University’s computer science faculty, and then joined Helios.
