''Shrek'' is an American media franchise made by DreamWorks Animation, loosely based on William Steig's 1990 picture book '' Shrek!''. It includes four computer-animated films: '' Shrek'' (2001), '' Shrek 2'' (2004), '' Shrek the Third'' (2007), and ''Shrek Forever After'' (2010). Lord Farquaad
Lord Maximus Farquaad is the main antagonist of the 2001 animated feature film ''Shrek'', as well as ''Shrek 4-D'' and the musical. He is voiced by John Lithgow.
