Dorababu
''Dorababu'' is a 1974 Telugu-language action film, produced by J. Subba Rao, G. Rajendra Prasad under the Phani Madhavi Combines banner and directed by T. Rama Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Manjula, with music composed by J. V. Raghavulu. Plot : The film begins in a central jail where Chandram is a prisoner of a homicide. Once a psychology student Anuradha on a survey acquainted with Chandram. Anuradha likes his ideologies and seeks the reason behind his crime, then he narrates the past. Chandram dotes upon his sibling Lakshmi and he knitted her with his close friend Shankar. At one juncture, Shankar's friend Chalapati tries to molest Lakshmi when the quarrel ensues into the death of Chalapati by Chandram and he is sentenced. Gollapudi Maruti Rao (14 April 1939 – 12 December 2019) was an Indian actor, screenwriter, dramatist, playwright, columnist and dialogue writer known for his works in Telugu cinema, Telugu theatre and Telugu Literature. Manjula Vijayakumar (4 July 195423 July 2013) was an Indian actress. She acted in more than 100 films in South Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of Telugu cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. Punyamurthula Appalaraju (20 October 1937 – 07 February 1983), better known by his stage name Raja Babu, was an Indian actor and comedian known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is noted as one of the finest Telugu comedians. A 9 ft bronze statue of Rajababu was unveiled in his birthplace of Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh in 2012. Mada Venkateswara Rao (4 June 1935 - 24 October 2015) was an Indian actor from Andhra Pradesh. He acted in more than 600 films. He played notable roles in the films ''Mutyala Muggu'', '' Lambadolla Ramdasu'', and '' Mayadari Malligadu''. He was known for his comedy roles. He worked as an engineer in the state civil department before becoming an actor. He entered theater as a stage artist and also worked as a cine journalist. Later, he made his debut in films with Sudigundalu. He became popular with the eunuch role he played in the 1977 film '' Chillara Kottu Chittemma'', directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre.
