Dora M. Sweeney
Dora M. Sweeney (née Lundstrom) (June 19, 1907 – September 30, 2001) was an American secretary and politician. Born in Biwabik, Minnesota, Sweeney moved with her family to Juneau, Alaska. Sweeney graduated from Juneau High School and went to the Hall School of Commerce in Seattle, Washington. She worked as a secretary. From 1955 to 1959, Sweeney served in the Alaska Territorial Legislature. Sweeney also served in the Alaska Constitutional Convention of 1955. Biwabik, Minnesota
Biwabik () is a city in Saint Louis County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 961 at the 2020 census. State Highway 135 (MN 135) and Vermilion Trail (County 4) are two of the main routes in Biwabik. Its name is derived from the Ojibwe word for Iron: ''Biwabiko-nabik-wan''. Biwabik is the gateway to the East Range on the Mesabi Iron Range. The City and Borough of Juneau, more commonly known simply as Juneau ( ; tli, Dzánti K'ihéeni ), is the capital city of the state of Alaska.
