Doon Mackichan
Sarah Doon Mackichan (; born August 1962) is a British actress, comedian and writer. She co-created, wrote and performed in the double Emmy award winning '' Smack the Pony''. She frequently collaborates with Armando Iannucci and Steve Coogan, having played multiple characters in '' The Day Today'', '' Brass Eye'' and Alan Partridge, and has also appeared in ''Toast of London'' and '' Two Doors Down''. Mackichan was nominated for Best Female Comedy Performance at the 2014 British Academy Television Awards for her performance in ''Plebs'' and won critical praise for her performance alongside John Malkovich in ''Bitter Wheat'' in 2019. Upper Largo or Kirkton of Largo is a village in the parish of Largo, near the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. It rests on the southern slopes of Largo Law and half a mile north of Largo Bay and the rather larger village of Lower Largo. It is the home of Largo Cricket Club. ''The Glam Metal Detectives'' is a comedy show produced by the BBC in 1995. Shown on BBC2 on Thursday nights at 9, it combined sketch and sitcom elements. As with other shows launched in this timeslot, ''The Glam Metal Detectives'' attempted to innovate and combine genres. The show consists of a single series of seven episodes. The Mary Whitehouse Experience
The ''Mary Whitehouse Experience'' was a British topical sketch comedy show produced by the BBC in association with Spitting Image Productions. It starred two comedy double acts, one being David Baddiel and Rob Newman, the other Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis. All four comedians had graduated from Cambridge University. It was broadcast on both radio and television in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The show was named after Mary Whitehouse, a campaigner against what she saw as a decline in television standards and public morality. She became the target of mockery in the UK for her attitudes. Christopher J Morris (born 15 June 1962) is an English comedian, radio presenter, actor, and filmmaker.
