Donta Hall (born August 7, 1997) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the AS Monaco Basket of the LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Early life and high school career Hall grew up in Luverne, Alabama and attended Luverne High School, playing on the Tigers' junior varsity team in eighth grade. Hall's father Donald suffered a fatal heart attack at one of his junior varsity games. He was drafted in the fourth round (125th overall) of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
