''Dongallo Dora'' () is a 1957 Indian Telugu-language action film, produced by D. L. Narayana under the Chandamama Films banner and directed by P. Chengayya. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Jamuna, with music composed by M. Subrahmanyam Raju. The film was dubbed into Tamil as ''Pakka Thirudan''. Plot Inspector Ram Murthy and Balaji are neighbors and good friends. Both the families live together, Ram Murthy has a son Anand and Balaji has a daughter Indira / Indu. The elders want to perform their marriage when they grow and even children are closely acquainted with each other. Meanwhile, Balaji wins 3 lakhs of the lottery and becomes rich, from there onward Balaji's shrew wife Durgamma looks down on everyone. This hurts Anand, so, he decides to earn money at any cost hence he becomes a poker. Once in the game a person cheats him, angered Anand takes his father's pistol and shoots him. Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He received the state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 1981 for "Andamaina Lokamani" from the film Tholi Kodi Koosindi, ''Tholikoodi Koosindi''. He is popularly known as ''Manasu Kavi (''). Pillavalu Gajapathy Krishnaveni (3 November 1935 – 16 August 2004), more famously known as Jikki, was an Indian playback singer from Andhra Pradesh. She sang around 10,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Sinhalese languages. Early life Jikki was born in Chennai on 3 November 1935. Her parents Gajapathi Naidu and Rajakanthamma, a Telugu family, had moved from Chandragiri, near Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh to Chennai for their livelihood. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of Telugu cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema.
