Donga-Mantung is a Departments of Cameroon, division of the Northwest Province (Cameroon), Northwest Region of Cameroon. Nkambé
Nkambe is a city in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. It is the headquarters of the Donga-Mantung department. ''Nkambe Central'' is also the name of one of the five communes in Donga-Mantung. Nkambe lies at the north edge of the Bamenda Grassfields, on the northeast arc of the Ring Road, farthest from Bamenda. The Nigerian border is only 25 or 40 km away, but roads toward the border are undeveloped jungle tracks. People Most of the people in Nkambe Central commune are Wimbum - the three clans which speak the Limbum language. Ndu, Cameroon
Ndu is a town and commune in Donga-Mantung, a division in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. It lies at the northeast edge of the Bamenda Grassfields, on the eastern arc of the Ring Road.Map of Cameroon - Nkambe. It is the highest elevation town in Cameroon. About 85,000 people live in Ndu commune. Most are Wimbum - the three clans which speak the Limbum language. Misaje
Misaje is a town and commune in Donga-Mantung department in the Northwest Region of Cameroon. The town lies at the top of the Ring Road, about 15 kilometers west of Nkambé, where the Ring Road meets the road north to Dumbu and the border with Nigeria.Map of Cameroon - Nkambe. The name ''Misaje'' comes from a Hausa nickname for a bearded man who sold food and rented rooms to kola traders on their way to and from Takum. The village containing his stop came to be called Misaje and the name was later applied to the whole commune. Different local dialects predominate in different parts of the subdivision. Ncane is spoken from Misaje south. Nsari is spoken around Kamine and Akweto. Kemezung is spoken in Dumbu and Kwei. Bebe is spoken around Bebe-Jama and Bebe-Jatto. Mungong is spoken at Mungong. The Regions of Cameroon are divided into 58 divisions or departments. The divisions are further sub-divided into sub-divisions (''arrondissements'') and districts. The divisions are listed below, by province. The constitution divides Cameroon into 10 semi-autonomous regions, each under the administration of an elected Regional Council. Regions Of Cameroon
The Republic of Cameroon is divided into ten regions. In 2008, the President of the Republic of Cameroon, President Paul Biya signed decrees abolishing "provinces" and replacing them with "regions". Hence, all of the country's ten provinces are now known as regions. Most of these provinces were designated in the 1960s alongside Centre-South Province (split into Centre and South in 1983).
