Dong-hyun, also spelled Dong-hyeon, is a Korean masculine given name. It has been a popular name for a few decades. In 1980, Dong-hyun was the eighth-most popular name for baby boys in South Korea, while in 1990 it came in ninth place. Kim Dong-hyun ( ko, 김동현, born September 17, 1998), also known mononymously as Donghyun, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor. He is known for his participation in the reality competition show ''Produce 101 Season 2''. He later debuted as a part of the musical duo, MXM. He is a member of South Korean boy group AB6IX.
