Donald McAlpine (December 5, 1869 – May 12, 1925) was an Ontario farmer, veterinarian and political figure. He represented Brockville in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1919 to 1923. He was born in Vankleek Hill, Ontario, the son of John McAlpine and Annie Grant, and was educated at McGill University, receiving a DVS. A Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) is an elected member of the Legislative Assembly of the Canadian province of Ontario. Elsewhere in Canada, the titular designation "Member of Provincial Parliament" has also been used to refer to members of the Legislative Assembly of Lower Canada from 1791 to 1838, and to members of the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1955 to 1968. Before the adoption of this resolution, members had no fixed designation.
