Donald M. Hess
Donald M. Hess (born 1936) is a Swiss winemaker and art collector. Life Donald Marc Hess inherited a brewery close to Bern from his father. His father passed away when he was 20 years old. After learning the brewing tradition in Bavaria as an apprentice, he managed to run the family brewery. As a specialty, he used a new method for brewing a non-alcoholic beer, which became successful in the entire Switzerland. After a few years, he sold his brewery to a larger group and used the proceeds to buy a mineral spring in Vals, a village in the Grisons to produce bottled mineral water. Over the next years, this mineral water, labeled ''Valser'', became the leading brand in Switzerland. Colomé
Colomé is a village and rural municipality in Salta Province in northwestern Argentina. It is located about 20 km from Molinos, Salta. This settlement was established by the last Spanish governor of Salta, Nicolás Severo de Isasmendi, in 1831. His daughter Ascención imported grapevines from France and planted them in the area at an average altitude of 2200 m, which is extremely high for viticulture. The climate is dry and arid, and temperature differences between day and night can be high. The winters are very cold. Markus Zürcher
Markus Zürcher (February 24, 1946 in Herisau – February 16, 2013) was a Swiss painter and representative of conceptual art and minimalism. Zürcher completed his initial training as Schaufensterdekorateuer in St. Gallen, after which he shifted his residence to Bern. Subsequently, he attended free art courses and worked as stage designer. From 1971 to 1976 he studied painting at the Art Academy in Stuttgart, K.R.H. Sonderborg, then at the Gesamthochschule Kassel, studying sculpture and painting with Eberhard Fiebig, which he finished in 1983 with a diploma. Milton Ernest "Robert" Rauschenberg (October 22, 1925 – May 12, 2008) was an American painter and graphic artist whose early works anticipated the Pop art movement. Rauschenberg is well known for his Combines (1954–1964), a group of artworks which incorporated everyday objects as art materials and which blurred the distinctions between painting and sculpture. Rauschenberg was both a painter and a sculptor, but he also worked with photography, printmaking, papermaking and performance. Rauschenberg received numerous awards during his nearly 60-year artistic career.
