Don Satijn
Don Satijn (born 11 May 1953) is a Dutch musician and artist, lecturer at the Codarts, who works as sculptor and installation artist. Biography Born in Maastricht, Satijn grew up in Rotterdam. He started his studies in Delft, and in 1972 moved to study at Codarts in Rotterdam, where in 1977 he obtained his BA in music and composition. Sculpture is the branch of the visual arts that operates in three dimensions. Sculpture is the three-dimensional art work which is physically presented in the dimensions of height, width and depth. The Willem de Kooning Academy ( nl, Willem de Kooning Academie) is a Dutch academy of media, art, design, leisure and education based in Rotterdam. It was named after one of its most famous alumni, Dutch fine artist Willem de Kooning. Codarts University for the Arts ( nl, Codarts hogeschool voor de kunsten) is a Dutch vocational university in Rotterdam that teaches music, dance and circus. It was established in its present location in 2000.
