Don Holder
Donald Joseph Holder (September 29, 1928 – September 1, 2015) was an American gymnast. He competed in eight events at the 1952 Summer Olympics. Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Holder attended William L. Dickinson High School and graduated in 1946. As a gymnast, he was a member of the Swiss Gymnastic Society. He attended Florida State University, where he was chosen to serve as co-captain of the gymnastics team. The Florida State Seminoles are the athletic teams representing Florida State University located in Tallahassee, Florida. They compete as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level ( Football Bowl Subdivision sub-level for football), primarily competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for all sports since the 1991–92 season; within the Atlantic Division in any sports split into a divisional format since the 2005–06 season. Bill Roetzheim
William Henry Roetzheim, Jr. (August 7, 1928 – February 26, 2014) was an American gymnast, collegiate coach, and adminstrator. He competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics and the 1952 Summer Olympics. Roetzheim won gold at the 1951 Pan American Games, and he was also an army veteran who served in the Korean War. Early life and gymnastics career Roetzheim was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1928. His career in gymnastics began with the Southside Turners. From there, he attended the Navy Pier campus at the University of Illinois Chicago before going to Florida State University. At Florida State, he became the NCAA Men's Gymnastics All-Round Champion, and led his school to win the team event. Later the same year, Roetzheim travelled to the 1951 Pan American Games in Buenos Aires at his own expense.
