"Don't Think I'm Not" is the debut solo single of American R&B singer Kandi from her debut album, '' Hey Kandi...'' (2000). Kandi co-wrote the song with Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs, Katrina Willis, and Bernard Edwards, Jr. and produced it alongside Briggs. Released on July 11, 2000, "Don't Think I'm Not" reached number 24 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and number 32 on the ''Billboard'' Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. Kandi Lenice Burruss Tucker (born May 17, 1976), known professionally by her mononym Kandi, is an American producer, television personality, singer, songwriter and actress. The ''Gavin Report'' was a San Francisco-based radio industry trade publication. The publication was founded by radio performer Bill Gavin in 1958. Rhythmic contemporary, also known as Rhythmic Top 40, Rhythmic CHR or rhythmic crossover, is a primarily American music-radio format that includes a mix of EDM, upbeat rhythmic pop, hip hop and upbeat R&B hits.
