Beth Hart (born January 24, 1972) is an American musician from Los Angeles, California. She rose to fame with the release of her 1999 single " LA Song (Out of This Town)" from her second album ''Screamin' for My Supper''. Kathleen Patricia Brennan (born 1955) is an American musician, songwriter, record producer, and artist. She is known for her work as a co-writer, producer, and influence on the work of her husband Tom Waits. Biography Brennan was born in Cork, Ireland and grew up in Johnsburg, Illinois in the US, after her family moved there when she was young. Brennan and Waits first met in 1978 when Waits made his acting debut in ''Paradise Alley'' while Brennan was a scriptwriter, and then again during production of the Francis Ford Coppola film ''One from the Heart.'' Robert Calvin Bland (born Robert Calvin Brooks; January 27, 1930 – June 23, 2013), known professionally as Bobby "Blue" Bland, was an American blues singer. Bland developed a sound that mixed gospel with the blues and R&B. Leroy E. Kirkland (February 10, 1904 or 1906 – April 6, 1988) was an American arranger, bandleader, guitarist and songwriter whose career spanned the eras of big band jazz, R&B, rock and roll and soul. Ellington Jordan (1940 – 2020), also known as Fugi, was an American musician, songwriter, and record producer based in Detroit, Michigan. Career Ellington Jordan was originally from Los Angeles but moved to Detroit to start his music career. He began playing music in Detroit in the 1960s and collaborated with various local soul and funk musicians as a songwriter and sideman. In 1967 he co-wrote the blues song "I'd Rather Go Blind" for Etta James, based on his recent experiences in prison. The song was later covered by many artists including Rod Stewart and Beyonce. It was first recorded by Etta James in 1967, released in 1967, and has subsequently become regarded as a blues and soul classic.
