Dominic Steele
Dominic Steele is an Australian Anglican minister. He is the senior minister of Village Church, Annandale, New South Wales, and works at Christians in the Media. He was formerly a radio journalist and presenter on radio stations 2UE and 2WS. He continued as a news editor in radio and became involved in Anglican churches in Sydney, though he had been raised a Roman Catholic. He later began studying theology at Moore Theological College and was ordained to the Anglican ministry#Priests, Anglican ministry. He is the author and presenter of the course ''Introducing God'', used as a tool by Sydney Anglicans and others for evangelism. Career After a start in community radio (2SER and 2RPH) Steele's commercial radio career began at 2MO Gunnedah as morning announcer. He switched to 2UE as a journalist in 1985 first covering police rounds, then rural news, then news editing. He was 2UE’s only journalist at the 1988 Olympic Games. Annandale is a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Annandale is located within 5 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district and is part of the local government area of the Inner West Council. Annandale's northern end lies on Rozelle Bay, which is on Sydney Harbour. Glebe lies to its east, Lilyfield and Leichhardt to its west and Stanmore and Camperdown to its south. Matthias Media is an Australian evangelicalism, evangelical Christian publisher. The business was founded in 1988, and grew out of the ministry of Phillip Jensen and editor Tony Payne at St Matthias, Centennial Park, Sydney under the name St Matthias Press and Tapes. Many resources now published by Matthias Media were developed as part of the ministry of Campus Bible Study at the University of New South Wales. Since then the company has grown under the banner "Resources for growing Christians" and is now incorporated as a non-profit company under the name Matthias Media. Phillip Jensen
Phillip David Jensen (born 1945) is an Australian cleric of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney and the former Dean of St Andrew's Cathedral. He is the brother of Peter Jensen, the former Anglican Archbishop of Sydney. Early life and conversion Jensen spent the early years of his life living at Bellevue Hill, a suburb in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. His first public statement of faith came at a Billy Graham crusade in 1959. He married his wife Helen in 1969. Education and ministry Jensen studied theology at Moore Theological College from 1967 to 1970 and won the Hey Sharp prize for coming first in the Licenciate of Theology (ThL), the standard course of study at that time. 2SER is a community radio station in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, broadcasting on the frequency 107.3 FM and is a member of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia. The station is largely self-supporting, relying upon revenue raised through programming, sponsorship, fund-raising events and membership. Their studios are located in Ultimo and Macquarie, Sydney. The station has a metro-wide licence and broadcasts a mix of programming styles - specialist music, general magazine and specialist talks.
