Domestic Airport is a train station located on the Airport Link, serving Terminals 2 and 3 at Sydney Airport, Australia. International Terminal 1 is served by International Airport station. The station is operated by Sydney Trains with T8 Airport & South line services. History Domestic Airport station opened on 21 May 2000 when the Airport Link opened from Central to Wolli Creek. Like other stations on the line, Domestic Airport was built and is operated by the Airport Link Company as part of a public–private partnership. As part of the contract to build the line, an access fee is levied to recover the costs of building the line. Although often perceived as all going to the Airport Link Company, under the revenue sharing agreement, from August 2014 85% of revenues raised by the access fee go to the State Government. Mascot, New South Wales
Mascot is a suburb in the Inner-South of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Mascot is located 7 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district and is one of the administrative centres of the Bayside Council. A small part of Mascot is located in the Inner West Council. Mascot is on the north-west side of Botany Bay and contains Sydney Airport. History The first land grants in the area were made in 1835, with market gardening being the main land use. Subdivision followed the construction of Botany Road in 1875 and a municipality known as North Botany was formed in 1888. Revesby railway station is located on the East Hills line, serving the Sydney suburb of Revesby. It is served by Sydney Trains T8 Airport & South line services. History Revesby station opened on 21 December 1931 when the line was extended from Kingsgrove to East Hills. In 1956 a crossing loop was opened. On 9 December 1985, the line from Revesby to East Hills was duplicated with a new track laid to the north of the existing one. The line from Kingsgrove to Revesby was duplicated around the same time.
