Dom Chiti
Harry Dominic Chiti (born December 10, 1958 in Independence, Missouri) is an American former professional baseball player, coach, scout and farm system official. In Major League Baseball, he has worked as bullpen coach of the Cleveland Indians, Baltimore Orioles, Texas Rangers, and Los Angeles Angels. He is a former left-handed pitcher in the minor leagues. Playing career Dom Chiti was born in Independence, Missouri, the son of former major league catcher Harry Chiti. An All-America team member, Chiti was a second round selection of the Atlanta Braves in the 1976 draft out of Raleigh-Egypt High School, Memphis, Tennessee. He started his professional career with the Kingsport Braves in 1976, and the following year he was named to the Western Carolinas League All-Star team as a member of the Class A Greenwood Braves. Baltimore Orioles
The Baltimore Orioles are an American professional baseball team based in Baltimore. The Orioles compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) American League East, East division. Caribes De Anzoátegui
The Caribes de Anzoátegui ( en, Anzoátegui Caribs) is a baseball team in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League based in Puerto la Cruz, Anzoátegui. Franchise history In January 1987, a local businessmen group based in Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela stated their intention to Venezuelan Professional Baseball League to pursue an expansion franchise. Finally on July 15, 1987, the franchise was founded with 21 stockholders and begun a struggle for finding a second expansion team for it was a league requirement. It was not until 1990 that the Venezuelan league awarded the Puerto la Cruz-based franchise, and the Caribes de Oriente debuted in the 1991–92 season. Greenwood Braves
The Greenwood Braves were a single-A minor league baseball team located in Greenwood, South Carolina that existed from 1968 to 1979. History Affiliated with the Atlanta Braves, the Braves were members of the Western Carolinas League. The Braves captured League Championships in 1968, 1971 and 1978. Raleigh-Egypt High School (REHS) is a secondary school (grades 9–12) located at 3970 Voltaire Road in Raleigh, a section of Memphis, Tennessee, United States. It is part of the Shelby County Schools district. It shares a campus with Egypt Central Elementary School and Raleigh-Egypt Middle School. The high school has an enrollment of 595 as of school year 2019–2020. When REHS was built in 1969, it was part of the Shelby County School System. It came under the Memphis City School system after Raleigh was annexed by Memphis in 1972.
