Dolph Heinrichs
Adolphos Heinrich Julius Carl "Dolph" Heinrichs (28 April 1883 – 24 June 1967) was an Australian rules footballer who played with East Fremantle and North Fremantle in the West Australian Football Association (WAFA). He also represented the Western Australian cricket team in two first-class cricket matches. Heinrichs was born in Germany and immigrated with his family to Australia shortly after his birth. He spent some of his childhood in Victoria but played his junior football in Western Australia, prior to joining East Fremantle in 1899. He played with East Fremantle for two years and then went to the Western Australian goldfields where he played with Kalgoorlie in the 1901 Goldfields Football Association season. The following year he was back in the WAFA, but this time at North Fremantle, who were playing their inaugural season. Full-forward is a position in Australian rules football and Gaelic football with a key focus on kicking goals. The Coleman Medal is awarded to the player, often a full-forward, who has kicked the most goals in an Australian Football League season. In modern Australian rules football and Gaelic football, in which players do not strictly stick to a single position, the full-forward is often referred to as a "Key Forward" and can often switch positions with the centre half-forward for "team balance" reasons. Ernest Harvey Bromley (2 September 1912 – 1 February 1967) was an Australian cricketer who played in two Test matches, one in 1933 and the other in 1934. The New South Wales men's cricket team (formerly named NSW Blues) are an Australian men's professional first class cricket team based in Sydney, New South Wales. WACA Ground
The WACA (formally the WACA Ground) is a sports stadium in Perth, Western Australia. The stadium's name derives from the initials of its owners and operators, the Western Australian Cricket Association. The WACA has been referred to as Western Australia's "home of cricket" since the early 1890s, with Test cricket played at the ground since the 1970–71 season. Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) is a cricket club founded in 1787 and based since 1814 at Lord's Cricket Ground, which it owns, in St John's Wood, London. 1925 WAFL Season
The 1925 WAFL season was the 41st season of the West Australian Football League. It was notable as the season where a fully-fledged system of district football was firmly in place after two seasons of planning, with Perth divided into eight zones, one of which was allocated to Claremont in preparation for their entry to senior WAFL ranks for 1926 and another covered the Midland area later to be allocated to Swan Districts. Along with this, the WAFL introduced a reserves competition for players not good enough for their club's league team.
