Dolores Crow
Dolores J. Crow (née York; November 14, 1931 – February 9, 2018) was an American politician who served as a member of the Idaho House of Representatives from 1982 to 2006. Early life Crow was born in Clovis, New Mexico. In 1933, her family moved to Jerome, Idaho, where she attended Jerome High School. She worked several administrative jobs, including one at the Idaho State Capitol, where she heard of an opening in the state legislature for her district in 1982. Career Crow accepted the position as a state legislator, and was re-elected successively for 24 years. During her career, she served on several committees and chaired both the House Revenue and Taxation and the Environmental Affairs Committees. She also served as a member of the Permanent Building Fund Advisory Counsel and was appointed by the Governor of Idaho to be a Commissioner overseeing the restoration of the Capitol. Idaho House Of Representatives
The Idaho House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Idaho State Legislature. It consists of 70 representatives elected to two-year terms. The state is divided into 35 districts, each of which elects two representatives to separate seats. It meets at the Idaho State Capitol in Boise, Idaho, in the State Capitol Building. The University of Idaho (U of I, or UIdaho) is a public land-grant research university in Moscow, Idaho. It is the state's land-grant and primary research university,, and the lead university in the Idaho Space Grant Consortium. Moscow ( ) is a city in North Central Idaho, United States. Located along the state border with Washington, it had a population of 25,435 at the 2020 census. The county seat and largest city of Latah County, Moscow is the home of the University of Idaho, the state's land-grant institution and primary research university.
