Dollie De Luxe
Dollie de Luxe were a Norwegian pop duo consisting of Benedicte Adrian (lead vocal) and Ingrid Bjørnov (keyboard and vocal). Their debut album ''Første Akt'' from 1980 was awarded Spellemannprisen. They represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song " Lenge leve livet". The duo Dollie was formed in 1980, and from 1984 called Dollie de Luxe. In 1985 they scored a Top 20 hit in France with their single "Queen of the Night/Satisfaction". Their musical ''Which Witch'' premiered at Bergen International Festival in 1987. Dollie Radford
Caroline Maitland (1858–1920) was an English poet and writer. She worked under the name "Dollie Radford" after she married Ernest Radford. Life Maitland was born in 1858 and in 1880 she met her future husband in the British Museum Reading Room and they continued to meet at Karl Marx's house. She married Ernest Radford in 1883, and wrote as Dollie Radford. They had three children, one being the doctor and writer Maitland Radford. Her grandchildren include the town and park planner Ann MacEwen.Ann MacEwan

Clarice "Dollie" McLean (born 1936) is founding executive director of the Artists Collective, Inc. of Hartford, Connecticut. McLean, born Clarice Helene Simmons in Antigua, West Indies, was raised in Manhattan, New York. She studied dance under Katherine Dunham, Jon Leone Destine, Asadata Dafora, and Martha Graham. In 1970 she and her husband Jackie McLean (whose vision and concept was the Artists Collective) enlisted local artists bassist Paul (PB) Brown, dancer Cheryl Smith, and visual artist Ionis Martin to join them in establishing the Artists Collective, Inc. in Hartford, Connecticut. The Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band (LSJUMB) is the student marching band representing Stanford University and its athletic teams. Billing itself as "The World's Largest Rock and Roll Band," the Stanford Band performs at sporting events, student activities, and other functions. History The LSJUMB was formed in 1893. However, its modern era began in 1963 with the hiring of Arthur P. Barnes as interim director (he got the full-time post two years later). Previous director Julius Shuchat had been very popular, and his ouster caused several members to go on strike. However, according to band lore, Barnes immediately won the band's loyalty by ceding any meaningful control over it. As a result, the band is almost entirely student-run. ''The Adventures of Dollie'' is a 1908 American silent film directed by D. W. Griffith. It was Griffith's debut film as a director. A print of the film survives in the Library of Congress film archive. The film tells the story of a young girl who, after being kidnapped by a peddler, ends up trapped in a barrel as it floats downriver toward a waterfall. Plot On a beautiful summer day a father and mother take their daughter Dollie on an outing to the river. The mother refuses to buy a passing peddler's wares. The peddler tries to rob the mother, but the father rushes up and drives away the ruffian. The peddler then returns to his nearby camp and devises a plan.
