Roger Christian (filmmaker)
Roger Christian (born 25 February 1944) is an English set decorator, production designer and feature film director. He won an Academy Awards, Academy Award for his work on the original ''Star Wars (film), Star Wars'' and was Oscar-nominated for his work on ''Alien (film), Alien''. Christian directed the second unit on both ''Return of the Jedi'' and ''Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace'' as well as feature films including ''The Sender'' and ''Nostradamus (1994 film), Nostradamus''. He also directed the 2000 film ''Battlefield Earth (film), Battlefield Earth'' which is regarded as one of the List of films considered the worst, worst films ever made. Studio System by Gracenote, formerly known as Baseline StudioSystems, is an American e-commerce company. It was founded in 1982 and licenses its commercial entertainment database, known as Studio System. It is owned by Gracenote, a subsidiary of Nielsen Holdings.
