Dog Latin
Dog Latin or cod Latin is a phrase or jargon that imitates Latin, often by "translating" English words (or those of other languages) into Latin by conjugating or declining them as if they were Latin words. Dog Latin is usually a humorous device mocking scholarly seriousness. It can also mean a poor-quality attempt at writing genuine Latin. Gaius Julius Caesar (; ; 12 July 100 BC – 15 March 44 BC), was a Roman people, Roman general and statesman. ''Warhammer 40,000'' is a miniature wargame produced by Games Workshop. It is the most popular miniature wargame in the world, and is particularly popular in the United Kingdom. The first edition of the rulebook was published in September 1987, and the ninth and current edition was released in July 2020. As in other miniature wargames, players enact battles using Miniature model (gaming), miniature models of warriors and fighting vehicles. The playing area is a tabletop model of a battlefield, comprising models of buildings, hills, trees, and other terrain features. Each player takes turns moving their model warriors around the battlefield and fighting their opponent's warriors. These fights are resolved using dice and simple arithmetic. The Whizzard Of Ow
''Whizzard of Ow'' is an animated short film that was released on November 1, 2003. It was directed by Bret Haaland. It stars Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, and is the first short of these characters produced after the death of Chuck Jones on February 22, 2002. The film was included in the DVD release of '' Looney Tunes: Back in Action'' as a special feature. Plot The short begins with a magical battle between two different stereotypes of sorcerers (a short Gandalf-like wizard that holds a large "Acme book of magic" in one hand and a staff in the other, and a tall Doctor Strange-like warlock with a black cat on his shoulder) where they zap each other until they zap each other in a final energy blast. Éric Jacques Levisalles, stagename Eric Lévi (Paris, 1955) is a French rock musician and film composer. In 1975, Eric Lévi founded the hard rock band Shakin' Street with Fabienne Shine, which would release the two albums ''Vampire Rock'' and ''Solid as a Rock''. Shakin' Street briefly toured with AC/DC and the Blue Öyster Cult before disbanding in 1981. He then moved to New York, and back to Paris in 1992. Later on in his career, Eric Lévi wrote the musical score to several films, including '' L'Opération Corned-beef'' the comedy ''Les Visiteurs'' which was an international success and one of the highest-grossing films of all time in France, and La Vengeance d'une Blonde. Era (styled as +eRa+) is a new-age music project by French composer Eric Lévi. Some of the lyrics were written by Guy Protheroe in an imaginary language similar to Greek or Latin, but deliberately devoid of any exact meaning. Musically, the project blends Gregorian chants with modern elements and genres, especially rock, pop and electronic music. Omnium Gatherum is a six-piece melodic death metal band from Finland, founded in the autumn of 1996. George Alexander Stevens
George Alexander Stevens (1710 – 6 September 1780) was an English actor, playwright, poet, composer and songwriter. He was born in the parish of St. Andrews, in Holborn, a neighbourhood of London. After spending many years as a travelling actor, he performed for the theatre in Covent Garden (now the Royal Opera House). Stevens was most famous in his lifetime for his '' Lecture on Heads'', a satirical "lecture" on heads and fashion, which parodied the popularity of physiognomy.
