Neil Dodgson
Neil Anthony Dodgson is Professor of Computer Graphics at the Victoria University of Wellington. He was previously (until 2016) Professor of Graphics and Imaging in the Computer Laboratory at the University of Cambridge in England, where he worked in the ''Rainbow Group'' on computer graphics and interaction. Education Dodgson graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Physics from Massey University in 1988 and subsequently worked there as a Junior Lecturer in Computer Science for one year. He was awarded a Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Prince of Wales Scholarship to study at the University of Cambridge, where he worked on image resampling supervised by Neil Wiseman and graduating with a PhD in 1992. It is named for its inventor, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (better known by his pseudonym, as Lewis Carroll, the popular author). John Dodgson Barrow
John Dodgson Barrow (November 24, 1824 – December 7, 1906), primarily known for his landscape paintings and portraits, has been regarded as belonging to the second generation of the Hudson River School. His subjects were frequently Central New York scenes, mostly around Skaneateles, New York, where he lived and worked until moving to New York City. A non-profit gallery is devoted to his work inside the library in the village of Skaneateles. Early life and education Barrow was born in New York City on 24 November 1824 to John Barrow III and Elizabeth Moode Prior Barrow. George Dodgson Callow
George Dodgson Callow (1829–1875) was an English painter who specialized in landscapes and maritime water color painting. Life Callow was born in Liverpool in 1829; according to the Parish Register of St Nicholas Church in Liverpool, he was christened on 20 April. He came from a large family of artists. His father, John Callow was also a painter as was his uncle William Callow and at least one of his brothers. By 1861, Callow is recorded as living in London, at 82 Newman Street. He showed two paintings at the Royal Academy: ''Morning on the River Teign'' in 1863 and ''Coastal Scene, Isle of Wight'' in 1864. He appears to have specialised in landscapes and maritime painting. He was married to Katherine Elston in 1866. The couple are not known to have had any children. He died in 1875. Dodgson Hamilton Madden (28 March 1840 – 6 March 1928) was an Irish Unionist Alliance Member of Parliament (MP) in the United Kingdom Parliament He was also a leading barrister, who held office as Serjeant-at-law, Attorney General for Ireland and subsequently as a judge of the Irish High Court. The Irish Unionists were the Irish wing of the Conservative Party. Stephen Cuthbert Vivian Dodgson (17 March 192413 April 2013) was a British composer and broadcaster. Dodgson's prolific musical output covered most genres, ranging from opera and large-scale orchestral music to chamber and instrumental music, as well as choral works and song. Three instruments to which he dedicated particular attention were the guitar, harpsichord and recorder. He wrote in a mainly tonal, although sometimes unconventional, idiom.
