Doctor Who (series 13)
The thirteenth series of the British science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who'', subtitled ''Flux'', was broadcast from 31 October to 5 December 2021. The series is the third and last to be led by Chris Chibnall as head writer and executive producer. It is the thirteenth to air following the programme's revival in 2005, and the thirty-ninth season overall. The series, initially announced in November 2019, was broadcast on Sunday nights, and was followed by three associated specials which aired in 2022. Jodie Whittaker returns for her third and final series as the Thirteenth Doctor, an incarnation of the Doctor, an alien Time Lord who travels through time and space in her ship, the TARDIS, which externally assumes the appearance of a British police box. Jodie Whittaker
Jodie Whittaker (born 17 June 1982) is an English actress who is best known for portraying the thirteenth incarnation of the Doctor in ''Doctor Who'' (2017–2022) and as Beth Latimer in ''Broadchurch'' (2013–2017). She came to prominence in her 2006 feature film debut ''Venus'', for which she received British Independent Film Award and Satellite Award nominations. She was later praised for her roles in the cult science fiction film ''Attack the Block'' (2011) and the '' Black Mirror'' episode " The Entire History of You" (2011). Jamie Magnus Stone
Jamie Magnus Stone (born 15 December 1985) is a Scottish film director and animator, who studied at the National Film and Television School. He is the son of Sally Magnusson and grandson of Magnus Magnusson and Mamie Baird. Career Stone studied film and television at the Edinburgh College of Art where he made his first films; ''Flights'', about an old man and his flight of stairs, and the Scottish BAFTA nominated ''Fritz'' about a German Spy who lives under a boy's bed. Whilst directing fiction films, he also developed his skills in sand animation and won the MacLaren Award at the Edinburgh Film Festival and Best Animation at BAFTA Scotland in 2008 for his series of Three Minute Wonders, ''The World According To'', produced by Anders Jedenfors. Mary Jane Seacole (;Anionwu E.N. (2012) Mary Seacole: nursing care in many lands. The Crimean War, , was fought from October 1853 to February 1856 between Russia and an ultimately victorious alliance of the Ottoman Empire, France, the United Kingdom and Piedmont-Sardinia. Sontaran
The Sontarans ( ) are a fictional race of extraterrestrial humanoids principally portrayed in the British science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who''. A warrior race characterised by their ruthlessness and fearlessness of death, they were conceived by writer and future story editor Robert Holmes and first appeared in the 1973 ''Doctor Who'' serial ''The Time Warrior''. Karvanista is a recurring character in British science fiction series '' Doctor Who''. The character made his first appearance during the episode "The Halloween Apocalypse" in the thirteenth series otherwise entitled as Flux. Karvanista is played by actor Craige Els. It was revealed that Karvanista was a companion to the Fugitive Doctor in "Once, Upon Time".
