Doctor Who (season 15)
The fifteenth season of British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' began on 3 September 1977 with the episode ''Horror of Fang Rock'', and ended with ''The Invasion of Time''. The fourth series for the Fourth Doctor, new producer Graham Williams became producer for this series (and the two following), while Robert Holmes left script editing for Anthony Read midway through. Thomas Stewart Baker (born 20 January 1934) is an English actor and writer. He is well known for his portrayal of the Fourth Doctor, fourth incarnation of The Doctor (Doctor Who), the Doctor in the science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'' from 1974 to 1981.Scott, Danny. Terrance Dicks
Terrance William Dicks (14 April 1935 – 29 August 2019) was an English people, English author and television screenwriter, script editor and Television producer, producer. In television, he had a long association with the BBC science-fiction series ''Doctor Who'', working as a writer and also serving as the programme's script editor from 1968 to 1974. The Doctor Who News Page described him as "arguably the most prolific contributor to ''Doctor Who''". He later became a script editor and producer of classic serials for the BBC. Dicks wrote many children's books during the 1970s and 1980s. ''Underworld'' is the fifth serial of the 15th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in four weekly parts on BBC1 from 7–28 January 1978. In the serial, the crew of an alien Minyan spaceship go on a hundred-thousand-year quest in search of a ship containing a genetic bank that would restore the Minyans' species. Plot In the history of the Time Lords, their involvement with the Minyans of Minyos is regarded as a disaster. The Minyans looked on them as gods but, having learnt much from their science, later expelled the Time Lords, who thereafter adopted a policy of non-intervention. John Pennant Roberts (15 December 1940 – 22 June 2010) was a British director and producer known for his work in British television drama. ''The Sun Makers'' is the fourth serial of the 15th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in four weekly parts on BBC1 from 26 November to 17 December 1977. Christopher Franklin Boucher (15 February 1943 – 11 December 2022) was a British television screenwriter, script editor and novelist. He is known for his frequent contributions to two genres, Science fiction on television, science fiction and crime fiction, and worked on the series ''Doctor Who'', ''Blake's 7'', ''Shoestring (TV series), Shoestring'', ''Bergerac (TV series), Bergerac'', ''The Bill'' and ''Star Cops''. ''Image of the Fendahl'' is the third serial of the 15th season of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', which was first broadcast in four weekly parts on BBC1 from 29 October to 19 November 1977. The serial was Chris Boucher's third and final script for the series and is set in an English priory, where the cultist Max Stael (Scott Fredericks) prepares the scientist Thea Ransome (Wanda Ventham) to be possessed and transformed by an ancient gestalt alien called a Fendahl. Plot In a priory near the village of Fetchborough, four scientists, Adam Colby, Max Stael, Thea Ransome and Dr. Fendelman, are doing tests on a human skull they found in Kenya, apparently twelve million years old. The Doctor (Doctor Who)
The Doctor is the title character in the long-running BBC science fiction television programme '' Doctor Who''.
