Dobryansky District
Dobryansky district ( Russian: Добрянский район) was an administrative district of Perm Krai, Russia. Its centre is the town of Dobryanka. Its area is 5,192 km2, 70% of which covered by forest. Main minerals are oil, gypsum and gravel. Population The district's population is 64,400 (2002 census). Ethnically, 91.5% are Russians; 2.5% are Tatars; 1.2% are Komi-Permyaks and 4.8% are others. Most of the population live in Dobryanka (59.8%) and Polazna (19.8%). Perm Krai
Perm Krai (russian: Пе́рмский край, r=Permsky kray, p=ˈpʲɛrmskʲɪj ˈkraj, ''Permsky krai'', , ''Perem lador'') is a federal subject of Russia (a krai) that came into existence on December 1, 2005 as a result of the 2004 referendum on the merger of Perm Oblast and Komi-Permyak Autonomous Okrug. The city of Perm is the administrative center. The population of the krai was 2,635,276 according to the ( 2010 Census). Komi-Permyak Okrug retained its autonomous status within Perm Krai during the transitional period of 2006–2008. It also retained a budget separate from that of the krai, keeping all federal transfers. Starting in 2009, Komi-Permyak Okrug's budget became subject to the budgeting law of Perm Krai. The transitional period was implemented in part because Komi-Permyak Okrug relies heavily on federal subsidies, and an abrupt cut would have been detrimental to its economy. The classification system of inhabited localities in Russia and some other post-Soviet states has certain peculiarities compared with those in other countries. Classes During the Soviet time, each of the republics of the Soviet Union, including the Russian SFSR, had its own legislative documents dealing with classification of inhabited localities. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the task of developing and maintaining such classification in Russia was delegated to the federal subjects.Articles 71 and 72 of the Constitution of Russia do not name issues of the administrative and territorial structure among the tasks handled on the federal level or jointly with the governments of the federal subjects. Dobryanka, Perm Krai
Dobryanka (russian: Добря́нка) is a town in Perm Krai, Russia, located on the bank of the Kama Reservoir, north of Perm, the administrative center of the krai. Population: History Considered to be one of the oldest inhabited localities in Perm Krai, Dobryanka was first mentioned in 1623. In 1752, an ironworks was built at the mouth of the Dobryanka River, and a settlement developed around it. In 1943, the settlement was granted town status. Polazna
Polazna (russian: Пола́зна) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) under the administrative jurisdiction of the Town of Dobryanka in Perm Krai, Russia, located on the east bank of Kama Reservoir, north of Perm and south of Dobryanka. Population: History Polazna was first mentioned in the Census of Great Perm in 1623–1624 as a settlement at the confluence of the Polazna River with four households and fourteen inhabitants. In 1797, an ironwork factory was built there, and Polazna became a factory settlement. In 1927, the factory was closed and its territory was flooded due to the construction of Kama Reservoir. In 1949, commercial development of oil started in Polazna. In 1956, Polazna was granted urban-type settlement status.
