Dobrepolje (plateau)
The Municipality of Dobrepolje (; sl, Občina Dobrepolje) is a municipality in Slovenia. It lies in a karst valley approximately south of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. The administrative seat of the municipality is in Videm. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. Podtabor () is a settlement in the southern part of the Municipality of Dobrepolje in Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. History In September 1933, catastrophic flooding occurred in Podtabor. After heavy rains, floodwater from creeks and estavelles inundated the area, flooding many houses in the village to the level of their roofs.
