Djamel Haimoudi
Djamel Haimoudi ( ar, جمال حيمودي; born December 10, 1970) is an Algerian football referee. He has been a FIFA listed international referee since 2004. Career Haimoudi was born in Relizane. He was a referee at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations. He has also refereed a number of CAF Champions League matches, as well as FIFA World Cup qualifiers. In December 2012, he was selected by the Confederation of African Football as the African Referee of the Year at the 2012 CAF Awards in Accra, Ghana. Two months later, he was appointed as the referee of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations Final between Nigeria and Burkina Faso and also officiated the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup play-off for third place between Uruguay and Italy. Relizane
Relizane or Ghilizan (Arabic language, Arabic: غلیزان; Berber language, Berber: Ɣilizan) is a city in Algeria. It is the capital city of Relizane Province. Toponymy The name of Relizane comes from the Berber ⵉⵖⵉⵍ ⵉⵣⵣⴰⵏ (Iɣil Izzan) which means “burnt / grilled hill”. The Turks built a bordj there, hence the name Bordj Ighil Izan, to control the road to Oran. The population is mainly from the Flittas and Beni-Ouragh of Ouarsenis. The 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup was the ninth FIFA Confederations Cup, which was held in Brazil from 15 to 30 June 2013 as a prelude to the 2014 FIFA World Cup. 2013 Africa Cup Of Nations
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the Orange Africa Cup of Nations South Africa 2013 for sponsorship reasons, held from 19 January to 10 February 2013, was the 29th Africa Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Starting from this edition, the tournament was switched to being held in odd-numbered years instead of even-numbered years so that it does not clash with the FIFA World Cup.
