Dixie Violet Egerickx (born 31 October 2005) is an English actress. Her films include '' The Little Stranger'' (2018), '' Summerland'' and ''The Secret Garden'' (both 2020). Early life Dixie Violet Egerickx is from West London. She attended Knightsbridge School. She was discovered at school at the age of eight by casting director Kate Bone of Nina Gold Casting. Career In 2015, Egerickx appeared on the London stage as Iphigenia in Robert Icke's adaptation of '' Oresteia. ''The Little Stranger'' is a 2018 gothic drama film directed by Lenny Abrahamson and written by Lucinda Coxon, based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Sarah Waters.
