Divya Saxena
Divya Saxena (born 16 September 1993) is a Canadian cricketer. She plays for the Canada women's national cricket team, national women's cricket team as an all-rounder and has also previously played for the Kenya women's national cricket team, Kenya women's cricket team. She is currently the vice-captain of the Canadian team. Domestic career Ahead of the 2023 season, it was announced that Saxena would be in the Leeward Islands women's cricket team, Leeward Islands squad for the 2023 Women's Super50 Cup, Women's Super50 Cup and 2023 Twenty20 Blaze, Twenty20 Blaze. International career Kenya Saxena began her international career with the Kenya team. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Practitioners of pace bowling are usually known as ''fast'' bowlers, ''quicks'', or ''pacemen''. They can also be referred to as a ''seam'' bowler, a ''swing'' bowler or a ''fast bowler who can swing it'' to reflect the predominant characteristic of their deliveries. Strictly speaking, a pure swing bowler does not need to have a high degree of pace, though dedicated medium-pace swing bowlers are rarely seen at Test level in modern times. The aim of pace bowling is to deliver the ball in such a fashion as to cause the batsman to make a mistake.
