Divizia B 1954
The 1954 Divizia B was the 15th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been changed to three series, each of them having 13 teams. At the end of the season the winners of the series promoted to Divizia A and last two places from each series relegated to District Championship. This was the fifth season played in the spring-autumn system, a system imposed by the new leadership of the country which were in close ties with the Soviet Union. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. The teams placed from 7th to 12th will play a relegation play-off, where the last two teams are relegated to Liga III. Siderurgistul Galați was a football club based in Galaţi, Galați County, Romania. It was founded in 1955 and dissolved in 1967. History In 1955 Dinamo Galați is founded and in 1961 the club was renamed CSO Galați, and one year later renamed again in Siderurgistul, with the following players: Dan, Câmpean, Lupea, Hulea, Stănescu, Dumitru Ionel, Coman I, Oprea, Costache, Militaru, Voicu, I. Gheorghe, Matei, Dărăban, Zagardan, David, Dragomir. In 1963 Siderurgistul promotes to the Divizia A and qualifies for the Romanian Cup final (1–6 against Petrolul Ploieşti). CA Câmpulung Moldovenesc was a football club based in Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Suceava County, Romania. It was founded in 1948 and dissolved in 1953. History The club was founded in the summer of 1948 with initial headquarters at Iaşi under the name of ''CS Armata'' (Army Sports Club). It began playing in the Third League, finishing tenth at the end of the 1948–49 season. In the summer of 1949 the club played a play-off for promotion to the Second League against CFR Iaşi, but lost 1–1, 2–3 (3–4) on aggregate. CSM Câmpia Turzii
Clubul Sportiv Municipal Câmpia Turzii was a Romanian professional football club from Câmpia Turzii, Cluj County, Romania, founded in 1921 and dissolved in 2021. Throughout the years, the club has had five other names, ''Metalul'', ''Industria Sârmei'', ''Energia'', ''Mechel'' and ''Seso''. History The club was founded in 1921 as Industria Sârmei and played in the district and regional championship. Clubul Sportiv Corvinul 1921 Hunedoara, commonly known as Corvinul Hunedoara or simply as Corvinul, is a Romanian football club based in Hunedoara, Hunedoara County, currently playing in the Liga III. Asociația Clubul Sportiv Petrolul 52, commonly known as Petrolul Ploiești () or simply as Petrolul, is a Romanian professional football club based in Ploiești, Prahova County, which competes in the Liga I. Founded in 1924 in capital Bucharest as ''Juventus'', following the merger of ''Triumf'' and ''Romcomit'', it won its first league championship in the 1929–30 season. Clubul Sportiv Municipal Focșani, commonly known as CSM Focșani, or simply Focșani, is a Romanian professional football club from Focşani, Vrancea County, founded in 1953 as ''Spartac Focșani''.
