División De Honor De Rugby
The División de Honor de Rugby is Spain's top level professional men's rugby union competition. The División de Honor de Rugby Championship is organised by the Federación Española de Rugby (Spanish Rugby Federation) and currently consists of 12 teams. The last-placed team in the competition is relegated at the end of the season to the División de Honor B, Spain`s second level of men's rugby union. The team finishing 11th enters a relegation/promotion playoff with the runner-up from the Division de Honor B playoffs. Format The División de Honor season takes place between September and March, with every team playing each other home and away for a total of 22 matches. Rugby union, commonly known simply as rugby, is a close-contact team sport that originated at Rugby School in the first half of the 19th century. Alberto Socías Olmos (born 16 May 1973 in Valencia) is a former Spanish rugby union player and coach. He plays as a centre. He is the younger brother of Antonio Socías, who also was former Spanish international. Career His first international cap was during a match against Italy, on 7 May 1994, at Parma. He was part of the 1999 Rugby World Cup roster, where he played two matches. His last international cap was during a match against Netherlands, on 6 April 2002 at Murcia. Juan Carlos Bado (born Montevideo, 29 December 1973) is a former Uruguayan rugby union player. He played as a lock.
