Diva Search
''WWE Diva Search'' (formerly ''WWE Raw Diva Search'') is an American talent competition that was produced and held by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The first winner was Jaime Koeppe, but she did not receive a contract like subsequent winners of the contest. Other winners included Christy Hemme, Ashley Massaro, Layla El, Eve Torres and Eva Marie. In addition to the winners of the yearly contest, WWE has hired several contestants as Divas, the name that WWE gave at the time to the female performers. As of 2021, Maryse Ouellet is the sole remaining female talents signed with WWE to come from the contest. There were many failed attempts at bringing back the competition over the years following the cancellation of the 2008 season, and was at one point going to return in 2019 under the new name ''Superstar Search''. But those plans were scrapped. 2003 The first WWE Diva Search took place in between July 1 and August 24, 2003. However, unlike the later Diva Searches, the first D ...

Open Your Eyes (Alter Bridge Song)
"Open Your Eyes" is a song by the rock band Alter Bridge. The song, which is one of the band's biggest hits, was released as the first single off their 2004 debut album ''One Day Remains''. It peaked at No. 2 on the US Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 2004, the band's highest charting single on that chart until " Isolation" reached No. 1 in 2011. The song "Save Me", which appears on the soundtrack for '' Elektra'', is also on the "Open Your Eyes" single as a b-side. Like many songs on the album, "Open Your Eyes" is about regrets and is one of the six songs on the record co-written by singer Myles Kennedy. The chorus seems to be encouraging peace. Lead guitarist Mark Tremonti originally wanted "Down to My Last" to be the first single, but the record company rejected it, saying it sounded too much like Creed, the then-former band of Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. "Open Your Eyes" was chosen instead. During live performances, the band usually plays "Ope ...

Women In WWE
Throughout its history, women have served in various onscreen roles in the American professional wrestling promotion WWE. In the 1990s, WWE (then known as the World Wrestling Federation) introduced the term Diva to refer to its female performers, including wrestlers, managers or valets, backstage interviewers, or ring announcers. In 2016 at WrestleMania 32, WWE abandoned the "Diva" branding for its female performers, as part of a move to present them in an athletic manner more in line with their male counterparts, rather than in a means based around sex appeal. Concurrently, the promotion began to refer to them using the "Superstar" title it uses for all other performers, established a new WWE Women's Championship to replace the WWE Divas Championship, and began to increasingly book women's matches in its pay-per-views' signature matches. WrestleMania 35 featured a women's match as its main event for the first time in WrestleMania history. History Beginnings (1980s–1990s) ...
