Boris Dittrich
Boris Ottokar Dittrich (; born 21 July 1955) is a Dutch politician of the Democrats 66 (D66) party, jurist, author and human rights activist. He is a Member of the Senate since 11 June 2019. Dittrich's father came to the Netherlands as a political asylum seeker from Czechoslovakia in 1948, he became a professor in Eastern-European history at the University of Utrecht. Boris Dittrich grew up in Utrecht and went to law school at Leiden University. He worked as a lawyer in Amsterdam from 1981 till 1989 and later as a judge in the district court of Alkmaar from 1989 till 1994. Paul-Heinz Dittrich (4 December 1930 – 28 December 2020) was a German composer and academic teacher. Based in East Berlin, he focused on chamber music, with many works inspired by poetry. His works were performed earlier in the West than in the East. He was an influential composer of contemporary music in Germany who taught internationally, including in the United States, Israel, and Korea. Life and career Born in Gornsdorf, Saxony, on 4 December 1930, Dittrich studied composition with Fidelio F. Finke and conducting with Günther Ramin at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig from 1951 to 1956. He was choral conductor with the FDGB Ensemble in Weimar until 1960. He studied further as a master student with Rudolf Wagner-Régeny at the Akademie der Künste in East Berlin from 1958 until 1960. Oliver Michael Dittrich (born 20 November 1956) is a German television personality, comedian, actor, and musician. Life Dittrich completed a three year-education as a theatre painter in the Hamburg State Opera (1975–1978). At the same time, he started his professional career as a musician, composer, and songwriter. Dittrich became famous in Germany for his work as an actor and comedian in the comedy television show ''RTL Samstag Nacht''. He appeared in films and TV series but has also performed live on stage. Dittrich (pronounced DEE-trick) (born August 6, 1957) is a Minnesota politician and former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2005 to 2012, representing District 47A, which included portions of the cities of Coon Rapids and Champlin in Anoka and Hennepin counties, which are part of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. A Democrat, Dittrich was a member of the House's K-12 Education Policy and Oversight Committee and Taxes Committee, and also served on the Finance Subcommittee for the K-12 Education Finance Division and the Taxes Subcommittee for the Property and Local Sales Tax Division. Franz Dittrich
Franz Dittrich (16 October 1815 – 29 August 1859) was an Austrian pathologist born in Nixdorf, Bohemia (today Mikulášovice, Czech Republic). He studied medicine at the University of Prague under Joseph Hyrtl (1810-1894), receiving his doctorate in 1841. He continued his studies in Vienna, and in 1842 returned to Prague, where he worked as a medical assistant with Anton von Jaksch (1810-1887) and Franz Kiwisch von Rotterau (1814-1852). He later served as prosector of anatomical pathology, and in 1848 succeeded Anton Dlauhy (1807-1888) as professor of pathological anatomy. In 1850 he succeeded Karl Friedrich Canstatt (1807-1850) as director at the medical clinic in Erlangen. In 1856 Dittrich succumbed to brain disease that ultimately led to his death a few years later.
